The Fusionists is a group that came together through the Nobad Sound Studio, a community studio administered by Maison des Jeunes de la Cote-des-Neiges where daily free workshops on rap writing, beat-making and performance are offered. The studio is coordinated by Lou Piensa of Nomadic Massive and Docteur Mad of the Alaiz collective.

STUDIO NOBADSOUND

Crée en 2007, le Studio Nobad Sound est une initiative de la Maison des Jeunes de la Côte-des-Neiges qui cherche à offrir un espace artistique ouvert aux jeunes musiciens. Situé à Côte-des-Neiges (le quartier le plus multiculturel de Montréal), le local comprend un mini studio d'enregistrement ainsi qu'un espace de répétition et de spectacles. Des ateliers d'écriture, de chant, de rap, de production musicale, de dj et de performance y sont également offerts chaque semaine.

Message from The Fusionists : 5 months of deep thinking, focusing and creating. Throughout that whole creative process we shared a lot and opened our mind. We mentally traveled in space and time. On this 12 tracks album (+ 1 Bonus) we share our vision of the world on instrumentals produced Dr. Mad and Tr3s. After sharing our thoughts and perspectives as a group it's now time to share them with the people! June 22nd
