The Mahoyo Project is a documentary that follows Mahoyo, a Swedish creative trio as they embark on a cultural exchange - collaborating with local artists in the realms of the growing urban music, fashion and dance scene in Johannesburg. This is juxtaposed against Stockholm’s creative scene and characters.

I'm Sloo, here's my description:

Born in Durban, South Africa, Sloo has been nomadic since he was 16 days old. Living in 10 cities over 21 years. He started scribbling raps at age 11 and started taking rap seriously at age 17. Since then he has released his Simple Life EP and a full length mixtape entitled "It's About Time" with his former crew "Since Sliced Bread". Since going solo in 2013, Sloo has been working on his debut project while studying Film at the University of Cape Town. His main influences are Rakim, Kanye West & Kendrick Lamar. Sloo has dealt with depression for many years so you'll probably hear some sad boy lines in his bars. He also love bacon, pizza, bacon pizza, chicken wings & puppies. Sloo is also unsigned as fuck.

The track Rapping Paper is my unofficial remix of Christian Tiger School's "Martin Luther Vandross". It has mad boom bap feels, a simple catchy hook and some funny bars about South African life. Enjoy with bacon pizza and hot wings for full effect.

Sipho The Gift "Bout To Go Down" (Ngale Way) [Prod. Kaytranada] #ZA #FD

Sipho the Gift is a 22 year old rapper/producer from Kimberley, currently based in Stellenbosch. He started out producing in high school when a friend introduced him to FL studio software. In his early days, he spent his time trying to replicate some of his favorite producers, until he developed a sound he can proudly call his own. Although, new to the scene, Sipho has produced for North Carolina rappers Well$ and King Mez The song was featured on highly respected blogs such as pitchfork, 2 dopeboyz, and complex magazine. He is now part of Immaculate Taste production team.
Sipho is an equally talented rapper. He recently released his first song “Poundcake freestyle” which premiered on Okay Africa.
Sipho hopes to affect the musical landscape both on a local and global scale in a memorable way. Coming of Age, his debut mixtape slated for an early 2015 released
Will be the first stone to the edifice that he’s attempting to build in order to make him a staple in the South African music scene.
